This video will not make much sense right now, because many people still have those grandparents that we all admire and cherish. However, 30 years from now once the baby boomers have transitioned. We could possibly never see grandparents like the ones we were used to when we were younger. This is not a conversation to start a rift… this is a conversation to bring insight about this topic.

An audio recording made on November 18, 1978, at the Peoples Temple compound in Jonestown, Guyana immediately preceding and during the mass suicide and murder of over 900 members of the cult. Today 44 years ago this took place, and it stands in history as one of the most horrific events to ever take place. Rest Easy to all of the people who lost their lives during this mass suicide. 

An interview with Myrtle Byram McGraw about her personal and professional relationship with philosopher John Dewey.  The interviewer is unidentified but is possibly Southern Illinois University archivist Kenneth W. Duckett.  She discusses how she met Dewey and her interactions with him throughout her career, primarily from the 1920s onward.  She talks about their time at Columbia University, trips to Scotland and other European countries, the personal nature of Dewey, Dewey and psychology including psychoanalysis, and Dewey's second wife Roberta Lowitz Grant.
