- うち: home ☺️ →ex) わたしのうち。My home. 

- ひろい (広い): spacious 

- へや (部屋): room  →ex)ひろいへや。Spacious room  

- せまい (狭い): cramped, small 🧎 →ex)せまいキッチン。Small kitchen. 

- だいどころ (台所): kitchen  

- トイレ: toilet, bathroom🚾 →or we would say おてあらい (お手洗い).  

- げんかん (玄関): entrance  

- もん (門): gate  

- いりぐち (入り口): entrance 

- でぐち (出口): exit 🏃  

- ろうか (廊下): hallway 

- かいだん (階段): stairs 

- エレベーター: elevator 🆙 →ex)エレベーターにのる。I take the elevator.  

- かべ (壁): wall  

- ドア: door 🚪 

- と (戸): Japanese style door *slide them to open and close. 

- まど (窓): window🪟  

- ほんだな (本棚): bookshelf 📚 

- おく (置く): place, put 

- テーブル: table →ex) テーブルをおく。I place the table.  

- いす (椅子): seat💺 

- ベッド: bed 

- スリッパ: slippers 

- れいぞうこ (冷蔵庫): fridge🥛 *れいとうこ (冷凍庫) means freezer.🧊 

- エアコン: air conditioner   

- にわ (庭): yard, garden 

- たてもの (建物): building🏢 

- ビル: building🏙 

- アパート: apartment 🕴 *In Japan, アパート is much cheaper and smaller to live in, than マンション generally. And マンション is not only for rich people. 🎌  

- すむ (住む): live 

- りっぱな (立派な): splendid 🤩 *looks great. →ex) あれはりっぱな家です。That is a splendid house. 

- いえ (家): house 🏡
