There is a version of me that existed just to survive. And if you're not her anymore—you don’t owe anyone an apology.
In this episode of Relentless and Real, we’re kicking off Quarter 1 with an honest conversation about identity, growth, and self-trust. We’re talking about outgrowing old roles, habits, and expectations—and why January isn’t about becoming “better,” but becoming more real.
This conversation took us into the difference between survival seasons and alignment seasons, and the quiet kind of growth that happens when we stop tolerating what no longer fits. I share openly about seasons where things looked put together on the outside but felt unsettled underneath—career pivots, shifting expectations, and learning to honor who I needed to be in harder seasons without staying there.
We also talk about motherhood, domesticity, and parenting teens—how love changes as our roles change, and what it looks like to slow down, listen more than lead, and trust ourselves in unfamiliar seasons. Through it all, we reflect on how God has been faithful in every version of us, even when the path hasn’t looked the way we expected.
If you’re feeling different than you used to be… if you know you’re not who you were, but you’re not quite sure who you’re becoming yet—this episode is for you.
You’re not behind. You’re not failing. You’re evolving.
