In this episode I got to meet up with college friends Heather Allyn & Rob Nagle in Los Angeles. We hugged each other for the first time in decades! I’m so excited to share with you this lovely, creative, and joyful conversation among old friends.

My guest is actor, singer, songwriter, and musician Eugene Wolf. Eugene and I know each other primarily through his teaching workshops for the Virginia Highlands Festival, but I first fell in love with his work when I saw him in a production of The Fantasticks at Barter Theatre. 

His one-man-show, "The Book of Mamaw," is a love letter to the woman who raised him, and he has performed it throughout the United States. 

Eugene is a gentle soul, a relentlessly human spirit, and one of the kindest, most generous performers you'll ever meet--typical of the performing artists in and around Abingdon, Virginia.
