On a platform to discuss christianity earlier today, one of the debaters (christians) spoke about this verse: Matt. 5 Verses 38 to 48 , [39] But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.. He said he was proud of Christianity, he was so proud of this verse.

Let me tell you, I balked. As an ex christian my self, it bought back memories of violence and a turbulent past which was precipitated by the above verse. It is used by missionaries all over the place to con people into Christianity.
