TODAY’S GUEST: Julaine Appling, President of Wisconsin Family Council and WI Family Action. In 1997, Julaine came to work at The Wisconsin Family Council (WFC) as Director of Office Operations until 1998, when she was asked to become the Executive Director of WFC. She’s been working to preserve faith, family, and religious freedom for 25 years.

We discuss today’s volatile climate and the abortion activist arson attack on her offices in Madison, WI Sunday; the SCOTUS ‘Roe’ draft leak, Democrat’s response, lack of civility, federalism, and her refusal to be bullied to back down in the face of violent threats. 

WFC offices were bombed in an arson Sunday, Mother’s Day, when someone smashed a window and threw a Molotov cocktail inside its Madison office. Appling said the act of violence was “a direct threat against us.” I say it’s a hate crime. The message spray-painted outside the building was a threat and warning to those who believe the Bible and defend innocent life in mother’s wombs: “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.” Is this not a form of terrorism?

Vera is the founder of the The Alliance for Human Research Protection (AHRP) a national network of lay people and professionals who are committed to upholding the humanitarian values and ethical standards of medicine enshrined in the Hippocratic Oath: “First, do no harm”; the Nuremberg Code (1947): “The Voluntary informed consent of the human subject is absolutely essential”; and the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights (2005): “Any preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic medical intervention is only to be carried out with the prior, free and informed consent of the person concerned, based on adequate information.”

Many of you know Scott Schara as Grace’s dad. is the founder and president of Our Amazing Grace’s Light Shines On, Inc., and is an advocate exposing how hospital systems are being used during this worldwide genocide. He has been working hard against the system, fighting for truth and raising awareness about CvD misinformation and dangerous hospital protocols that were used to kill his daughter, Grace (19), who was given a lethal combination of medications. Against the family’s wishes, Grace was also labeled DNR (Do Not Resuscitate). Scott is hoping to prevent more unnecessary deaths and to warn others they could be next.

Hospitals report every SARS-CoV-2 positive patient who dies in the hospital as a Cvd-related death. It is difficult to determine if the patients who die in the hospital with COVID-19 have died from COVID-19. We must remove the incentive of the Cvd Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, which provides hospitals an additional 20 percent compensation for Medicare patients diagnosed with COVID-19.

A former Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, Fernando helped create a Veterans Association at Biola University while earning a Masters of Divinity degree. He later worked at the Orange County Rescue Mission as the Veteran Services Case Manager, counseling and serving vets struggling with issues ranging from PTSD, drug addiction, and homelessness. Fernando works as the Veterans Outreach Director at Step Forward Academy helping veterans and their families. When I returned home from my latest deployment in the U.S. Army, my life began to fall apart. One night, after heavy drinking, I placed my 1911 pistol in my mouth and thought a prayer—silence. TODAY’S GUEST:  Joel Veldkamp is the international communications officer for Christian Solidarity International. He was born and raised in Iowa, and currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland. He lived in Damascus, Syria, in 2010-2011 working as an English teacher, and thereafter worked for CSI for three years in Washington DC. He received his master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago in 2016, and his PhD in history in 2021, for a dissertation about the Christians of Aleppo under the French occupation (1920-1936). He has traveled on CSI project trips to Nigeria, South Sudan, Iraq, Egypt, and Armenia. He speaks Arabic, French, and some Armenian.

We discuss the ACTS 5:29 Statement pastors and elders can sign declaring they will keep their churches open when government tries controlling worship or shutting down churches again. We address forgotten history of the “Black Robe Regiment,” the Johnson Amendment, growing movement of patriot pastors who refuse to back down from lies of the enemy and threats to religious freedom.

During the recent COVID-19 “pandemic,” representatives who were elected to secure our God-given rights, clearly transgressed their lawful authority in executive action that prohibited public meetings or mandated the wearing of masks and “social distancing.” God’s word directs us “not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together.” (Hebrews 10:25) This verse is a Divine injunction. We must obey God rather than the arbitrary decrees of men.
