WCW have just finished up with their November Pay Per View where Macho Man Randy Savage became the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Over on the WWF side, another new champion was beginning his third reign, Bret “The Hitman” Hart had defeated Diesel at the Survivor Series 1995 PPV and he was getting prepared to defend the title against all challengers.
