The WWF had a few issues with their In Your House: Beware of Dog pay per view. The lights in the arena got switched off due to a power outage, and also, the pay per view feed got cut off. On this week's episode of Raw, Vince McMahon promises to make things right with "Beware of Dog 2", the pay per view would air the night after Monday Night Raw. This week of episode features King of the Ring qualifying matches including Ahmed Johnson, Vader, The Ultimate Warrior and Goldust. 

While the WWF environment stayed the same really, WCW began to truly turn up the heat this week on Reliving The War. Not only did Scott Hall show up, but WCW went to a full 2 hour broadcast, meaning the company were packing more action into their weekly television show. It would only get better from here,  we aren't quite at the era of weekly cruiserweight action and nWo Hogan, Hall and Nash running the place... but we're very close!
