It’s June 24th 1996 and you have a decision to make, do you watch WCW Nitro or do you switch to the WWF channel? WCW Monday Nitro is live this week from Flair Country, Charlotte NC while WWF Raw comes live from Green Bay, WC. It’s the night after King of the Ring, and after Steve Austin gave his famous “Austin 3:16” speech, Stone Cold finds himself in the main event this week for the first time ever. The final match on Raw this week features Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Undertaker, two men who would remain loyal to the WWF throughout this whole Monday Night War. 

Over on WCW Nitro, things are seriously heating up in regards to the Outsiders invasion. Team WCW is now set in stone; Lex Luger, Sting and Randy Savage will defend WCW at Bash at the Beach against Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and a mystery third partner.
