It's the night after WWF Survivor Series 1996 and there's a new WWF Champion; Sycho Sid. Sid defeated Shawn Michaels in Madison Square Garden, and the Michaels' "Boyhood Dream" is over (for now). This week's Raw opens up with a Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Mankind match, one of the best opening matches of the series so far.
Eric Bischoff tells us all night that Roddy Piper has been rumored to be in the area, but he likely won't show up. Bischoff gets a surprise towards the end of the show, and a big revelation changes the future of both WCW and the nWo. Elsewhere, Chris Benoit has a match with Eddie Guerrero and Sting watches over Lex Luger, Ric Flair and Jeff Jarrett.
