It's the night after WCW Spring Stampede 1997 and Diamond Dallas Page makes it clear that his rivalry with Macho Man Randy Savage isn't over. Hollywood Hulk Hogan is at Nitro tonight and he confronts Kevin Nash about the recent problems Nash seems to have with the faction. Prince Iaukea defends the TV title against Ultimo Dragon, and the scheduled main event pits The Giant against Scotty Steiner.
On WWF Raw, Shawn Michaels cuts a promo on Bret Hart while the Hitman is in South Africa. Stone Cold Steve Austin has to wrestle twice but he gets a reward for doing so, another PPV match against Bret at In Your House: Revenge of the Taker.
