This is a message from our first worship gathering we call "Remembering Jesus". It is about coming to terms with the fact that we do need Jesus in our lives. These worship gatherings are small, intimate,and honest and that atmosphere comes out in these recordings.

One of the most intimidating and yet misused genre of Scripture is Apocalyptic. Bookstores are flooded with the position called "fully futuristic" and made popular by the "Left Behind" novel series. we examine both Apocalyptic literature in general and Revelation in particular in this class to determine if there are better positions for interpretation. an exciting class!

part a of our final class in "how to read the bible" are the stories in the bible works of fiction intended to teach a good moral lesson or did they actually happen and teach us about God and Man? we discuss how to approach this genre of Scripture which makes up the largest portion of the Bible. In this class we cover the genre of "prophets". We discuss questions like: "what is biblical prophecy?", "what is the role of the prophet".
