This week, we discuss The Godfather trilogy, its history and legacy. The Film to Remember is "The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone", the new re-cut version of The Godfather part III that was released this week. Hugo is a native Italian speaker, so at one point he goes on a rant about Robert DeNiro's attempt at speaking Italian, while Grizz and Josh listen uncomfortably.

This week on Remember The Film we review Mank, the latest film by David Fincher, and Citizen Kane as a double feature. We go in depth on Citizen Kane and its significance and talk about Mank both in terms of how it stands on its own and in terms of how it informs Citizen Kane itself.  We then reveal our respective Top 5 David Fincher films and talk about our thoughts on his work in general.

In this week's episode, we discuss the 1993 movie Rudy and what makes it stand out to us and why we think it is a good representation of the sports movie genre at its best.  And after that we answer the question "Sports Movies: Do you have to be a fan, to be a fan?"  Meaning, how much do you have to know about a sport to derive enjoyment from movies about that sport?  Join us again next week where will talk Citizen Kane and the new movie Mank!

In this episode we discuss this week's "Film to Remember," "The Sugarland Express," which was Steven Spielberg's first theatrical release that he directed.  Then we discuss our thoughts on Spielberg, what makes him stand out and how he has influenced the Hollywood we know today.  And we finish out with Remember the Film's Top 5 Spielberg movies!

The Film to Remember is Tarantino's oft-overlooked Jackie Brown (1997). Then, much like Kill Bill, our Tarantino ranking went on for so long that we needed to split it up into two volumes! Next week: Volume 2.
