The true face of the Chinese Communist Party was exposed 32 years ago tonight in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. Conservatively ten thousand people were massacred there by the CCP’s military as they demonstrated for democracy around a version of our Statue of Liberty.

To its eternal shame, the George H.W. Bush administration immediately dispatched National Security Advisor Brent Scowcroft to assure the Chinese Communists that we wouldn’t allow their mass murder to interfere with business as usual. The rest, as they say, is history.

The CCP took our measure, found our leaders and elites to be corrupt, unprincipled and weak, and furiously pursued the destruction of our country and world domination ever since.

We must now prove them wrong. Or, as Ronald Reagan said, we’ll be reduced to telling our children what it was like to live in America when men were free.
