In November 2016, Michael was bestowed the Safe America Foundation’s 2016-2017 Visionary Award for his efforts to create self-sustaining master- planned high-tech agricultural environments including live-work agricultural communities throughout the US. These environments specifically offer American Veterans opportunities to achieve home ownership and establish meaningful and sustainable careers as Agricultural Specialists in ACTS Freedom Farms of America's high-tech agriculture. Since that time, his vision has grown into one of the most unique and innovative concepts to benefit America’s Veterans and positively impact the availability and quality of sustainable healthy food production capabilities here in the U.S. and abroad.
