Remember Who You Are

How do you describe yourself?

The answer to that question has a powerful impact on your self-esteem.

In this episode, Christie shares the third part of the three-part structure used to build self-esteem: Remember Who You Are. After exploring how to support your mindset and feel your feelings, this final piece focuses on the way you identify yourself.

Many of us carry labels we’ve repeated for years.

“I’m shy.”

“I’m a people pleaser.”

“I’m not good at that.”

“I’m clumsy.”

These descriptions can feel permanent, but they’re simply thoughts you’ve practiced. They aren’t fixed qualities about who you are.

Christie explains how identifying yourself by old labels can keep you feeling stuck, even when you’re growing and changing. Instead of allowing past experiences or other people’s opinions to define you, you can intentionally decide how you want to describe yourself moving forward.

This isn’t about pretending to be someone you’re not. It’s about recognizing that you’re a human being who can learn, grow, and think differently.

As you begin changing the way you talk about yourself, you’ll notice a shift in the way you feel, the decisions you make, and the confidence you carry into everyday life.

Remembering who you are creates more clarity, less pressure, and a stronger relationship with yourself.
