In the 1994 movie, The Lion King, Simba was faced with the death of his father. In an effort to escape what others had told him he was, he totally forgot who he ACTUALLY was. He was the King of the pride. Aging (or irreverent others) sometimes has that same damn effect! It will have you forget how amazing you are. You'll forget your accomplishments, your intellect, your experience and your GenX wherewithal to get ish done! Tabatha Jones is a Career Growth Coach based in the SF Bay Area. She works with Gen-X female leaders who are ready to land their dream job, get promoted, and step into their confidence for ultimate career fulfillment. She has successfully helped 100’s of women climb the corporate ladder, develop as leaders, learn how to confidently tell their stories, and land amazing promotions. Her clients work for large corporations across the US including: Comcast, Cisco, Abbvie, Tyson, and more. Tabatha transitioned into coaching after spending 30+ years in Corporate America where she enjoyed climbing the ladder and leading large, high-performing technical teams in the telecommunications industry. At the age of 51 she decided “it’s now or never” and took the leap from her Executive Director role into entrepreneurship and coaching full-time. She now spends every day coaching Gen-X women in her areas of passion: job interview prep, leadership development, and confidence! On a personal note, she’s been married for 25 years, has a 28 year-old son, and enjoys any activity that involves water.
