Remembering Leland Cobain
During June of 2011 a couple of my siblings and I planned a trip to Washington that we dubbed "Grunge-Cation". Being huge fans of Nirvana it seemed like the perfect time to go see the EMP's (at the time) Nirvana exhibit. Tony had been in contact with Kurt Cobain's Grandpa, Leland Cobain, and arranged for us to visit with him.
It's been 30 years since the passing of Kurt Cobain and seemed like a good time to get Tony and Kelly together to reflect on our visit with Leland and Gary Cobain. We don't remember everything but hopefully you'll find some of this interesting. During our conversation we watched some of the videos we recorded at Leland's. If anything, we've got our memories recorded in case we forget anything else!
Leland Cobain was born in 1923 and passed away in 2013.
