Beginning here in chapter five, Moses summons all Israel to hear the decrees and laws, and to learn and apply them. Next, Moses declares The Ten Commandments and along with it, reminds the people of key elements in this first-ever covenant relationship between Jehovah God and His chosen people. This is a clarion call to the heart, if we have ears to hear.
