Thursday Sermon Series: The Book of 1 Timothy. 

1 Timothy 5:1-25

-Responsibilities of a Leader with those who come in their care (vv. 1-2)

-Responsibilities of child or grandchild to their parents (vv.4-8)

-Responsibilities of the Church to widows (vv. 9-16)

-Responsibilities for purity is found in (vv. 2) and again in (vv. 22)

Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that, if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.”

Nehemiah 2:1-3 NIV “In the month of Nisan in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was brought for him, I took the wine and gave it to the king. I had not been sad in his presence before, so the king asked me, “Why does your face look so sad when you are not ill? This can be nothing but sadness of heart.” I was very much afraid, but I said to the king, “May the king live forever! Why should my face not look sad when the city where my ancestors are buried lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire?””

Life is full of seasons, times of growth, pain, heartache, happiness, joy, breakthrough, and  Key Text: Ecclesiastes 3:1-3  There is a time for everything,     and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die,     a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal,     a time to tear down and a time to build,
