Can Christians defend life, stand with Israel, build successful businesses, and bring faith into politics without compromise?
In Episode 2 of The Remnant Podcast, Nathan and Taylor sit down with Taylor and Tommy Hardeman for an unfiltered conversation about radical transformation, adoption, Christian entrepreneurship, the White House, the pro-life movement, and standing with Israel.
Tommy owns three McDonald’s restaurants and leads an organization of nearly 400 employees. But this episode goes far beyond business success. Taylor shares her vulnerable testimony of walking through severe postpartum despair, substance abuse, and a marriage in crisis. After crying out to God in 2020, she experienced a radical spiritual transformation that changed their marriage, family, church life, and leadership.
Taylor and Tommy also tell the deeply personal story of adopting their son, Levi. What began with an unexpected vision led them through years of waiting, the heartbreak of a failed adoption, and a renewed decision to obey God. After experiencing the enormous financial cost of adoption firsthand, they began developing the Levi Fund—a nonprofit with the vision of helping families overcome the financial barriers to adoption.
For Taylor, defending life is personal. Her mother became pregnant at 18 and was encouraged to have an abortion, but she chose life. Today, Taylor is using her voice to challenge Christians to move beyond pro-life slogans and become part of the solution through prayer, generosity, practical support, foster care, and adoption.
The Hardemans also share what happened during their recent trip to Washington, D.C. They describe worshiping and praying with Christian leaders at the White House and hearing how faith is influencing public service. They also recount viewing footage documenting the October 7 attacks—an experience that confronted them with the reality of antisemitism and strengthened their conviction that Christians must stand with Israel and the Jewish people.
This conversation is an invitation to courageous Christianity. Following Jesus cannot be confined to Sunday. It must shape how we build families, lead employees, steward money, enter the public square, defend vulnerable children, confront evil, and respond when biblical conviction becomes costly.
