Our friends shape who we become. From the age of 12 onward, they often have the greatest influence on our lives, guiding our decisions and shaping our future. So, how can we choose good friends and be good friends ourselves? The book of Proverbs offers profound wisdom on this topic. In this episode, Pastor Chris Kipp continues the series Ancient Wisdom for Modern Living with the sermon, "Selfish Friends Are the Worst."

We could all use some more widom, couldn't we? In this episode, Pastor Chris Kipp begins a new series on Proverbs and teaches a message entitled "Wisdom & The War Against Temptation". Temptation is common to all people and each one of us will face it repeatedly in our lives.

Temptation seeks to entice not just into a one-time failure, but to a whole path of destruction. Wisdom, however, is God's gift to reveal to us the path of life. Wisdom is God's gift to us to help us win the war against Temptation.

"Multiplication" might sound like an esoteric Biblical idea, the hobby-horse of a certain type of church or pastor. However, multiplication is actually found in the very first chapter of the very first book of the Bible and the word, in some form, occurs 247 times in the Bible. Multiplication is found all over our Bibles. But, what does it mean and how does it help us understand God's intention for His church?

In this episode, Pastor Chris Kipp teaches on "The Multiplication Miracle" from Matthew 14:13-21. Using the famous feeding of the 5000, Chris looks at it from the disciples perspective, calling us to embrace both the blessing and the breaking of Jesus and to trust that there will be more, and not less, in the end.

The Christian has access to something that no one else on Earth has access to. It's something that no other religion can provide, no amount of money can buy, no incantation or ritual could secure. It is the reserved for the sincere believers in Jesus. It is the presence of God.

In this episode, Pastor Chris Kipp teaches from Exodus 33:1-17 on "The Presence of God". Chris challenges us to reorient our lives toward God's presence, to prize and pursue it, and to draw near to Him with sincere hearts.

God has unconventional ways of using His people throughout the Bible. We find one of those unique ways, in Daniel chapter 2, in which God perturbs a king, perplexes the godless, positions His people, provokes them to prayer, provides the solution, promotes His believers & gets all the praise in the end. In this message, "God's People Are God's Solution", Pastor Chris Kipp shares anchoring truth in these politically turbulent times reminding us that we can be used by God to be a part of the solution and not the problem.

Americans are divided on the issue of abortion. It continues to be at the center of the American political debate. Empathetic people feel torn between care for the individual and morality. What does the Bible say about this and how do Jesus' people interact with this issue? How do we stay compassionate for people and also uphold standards of human dignity? What is the standard of human dignity? In this episode, Pastor Chris Kipp teaches a message that touches all of these questions from Psalm 139:1-16. Chris challenges the conservative/liberal divide and speaks to both sides of the aisle.

How does what God does in our individual hearts have to do with the benefit of nations? That's the big question that Pastor Chris Kipp addresses in the message entitled "Christ & The Conscience". Teaching from John 6:41-51, Chris connects Jesus' teaching on how salvation works to the freedom of conscience that undergirds free societies. Chris challenges us to become thoughtful, reasonable and convictional Christians who see how our faith can be benefit, rather than a nemesis, to society.
