In this episode, we had the pleasure to chat with Creative Director René Holder. He shares how he co-founded Lab206 an animation studio right out of school. How he came to the bitter realisation that his heart was no longer invested in it, and making the decision to walk away six years later.
We also touch on how he got started and what keeps him thriving. He currently leads a team as Creative Director and sits as Vice President of TTAN; The Trinidad and Tobago Animation Network a non-profit body that strives to influence and develop policies that protect and grow, creatives in the animation industry.
Understanding the impact beyond the pixels is Renés’ goal as he strives to understand the whys and hows of a challenging creative space.
