It is a nonfiction book featuring two Kansas City mothers, a white and black mother, who come together as friends in a David-vs-Goliath battle to redeem their slain sons, both innocents, unarmed, and shot in the back. Mothers in Arms, tackles difficult issues, but it's also uplifting and promises hope.
