Increasing volumes of solar power are re-shaping the national energy grid, but despite the continuing transition to renewables, power prices continue to climb
That’s the take-out from the latest data from the Australian Energy Market Operator which also revealed that for the first time ever coal fired power accounted for less than 50 per cent of all energy produced.
The data comes as some unexpected roadblocks emerge along the road to net zero in Queensland, where the new state government announced a pause on some wind farm projects.
