This week we look at the rest of Luke's Gospel including the parable of the Good Samaritan, a wrinkle in Peter's denial of Jesus, and Jesus's appearing to two disciples on the road to Emmaus. Then we turn to the Acts of the Apostles, Luke's 2nd work, to see what happens after the resurrection. We look at Jesus's Ascension to heaven, the birth of the Church on Pentecost, and the beginning of pushback against the early Church. Finally we answer a question regarding the tension of the Gospel's and their seeming discrepancies.
