Our souls are in a deadly battle. Painful circumstances outside of us and brokenness within us cause great misery. Anxiety, malaise, discouragement, sadness, anger, and depression are all characteristics of this battle. But there is grace! We hope you will join us this Sunday at 10am for part three of our series, “I Won’t Be Overwhelmed: Finding Freedom From Depression.”

How do depressed and suffering people begin taking healing steps toward Jesus when our emotions are screaming at us to stay put? This Sunday, we'll wade into deeper waters and begin learning the most critical skill when our souls are overwhelmed by pain: putting one foot in front of the other.

The festivities of the holiday season are now far enough behind us that many find ourselves facing our old, familiar foe - sadness and even depression. For some of us, depression never subsides. Melancholy is your painful reality. Others among us don't even realize we've been suffering with depression all along. Sadness and a loss of hope feel normal while joy and peace seem farther and farther from our grasp. This Sunday, we begin a new series in which we will slowly and gently begin to learn to turn our hearts and minds over to our loving Heavenly Father. We're going to learn to walk in hope once again.
