In today's sermon, we return to the sermon series on the book of John. This week's talk focuses on the story of Jesus feeding the 5000, a remarkable miracle from which we are reminded of God's ability to provide. Through this sermon, pastor Ulysses encourages us to apply this truth — that God will provide — to our lives, and challenges us to not look at just our fish and our bread, but to look at Jesus.

On this Sunday's teaching, we learn from Pastor Ulysses the importance on waiting upon God rather than taking matters into your own hands. Through the lens of 1 Samuel, we see the growth of David's heart from one that is impulsive to one that trusts in the Lord and His will. This is especially difficult in modern times as we are habitualized to instant results. In this week's sermon we continue our series through the book of John. Today's talk focuses on the second half of the story of Jesus' encounter with the Samaritan woman, where we observe the response of the Samaritan woman and the Samaritans to Jesus. Through this story and the magnificent outcome, Pastor Ulysses reminds us to hunger for more than just physical food and encourages us to play our part, recognizing that 'the fields are white for harvest.'
