Here at Deep Spirituality, we are excited about our upcoming series of devotionals, videos, and podcasts exploring part of the Bible that deserves a deep dive: the parables of Jesus.

These brilliant stories illustrate deep spiritual truths about building a personal relationship with God in such a way that new insights pop up every time we read them.

Before we begin releasing the parable series, though, we want to take a minute to talk about how we’re doing when it comes to reading the Bible. The past two years of a global pandemic have put immense strain on everyone’s faith, increasing our worries and stressors significantly. It can be so easy to lose our inspiration to read the Bible, preferring instead to run around and do things or solve problems.

With so many things attacking our faith, we need to be able to read the Bible to find faith. In this episode, Russ and guests Ray Kim and Mike Query talk about how to keep our Bible reading vibrant. We hope that this episode inspires you as it has inspired us to not get defeated in reading the Bible, but rather to believe in the power of reading Scripture.
