Today's talk is about renunciation: that we need to renounce our negative thinking.
Today's Meditation is one on purification.
I want to emphasize that these podcasts are intended to be used to help you get started on your own path of meditation. If you are only doing meditation when you listen to my podcast, you will only get a very little benefit. In order to settle your mind down, and receive true benefit from meditation, what I would suggest, is that you contemplate on my talks and get insight on what they really mean to you. Then, repeat the meditations on your own. This is why they call it practice. As my teacher Khenpo Choga Rinpoche always says, “no repeat, no result.”
