Nehemiah provided a great example of servant leadership as he rallied Jews of every walk of life to bind together to all rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, many of them building opposite their homes. This is a central aspect of our church's vision--to mobilize everyone to "rebuild the wall opposite their house" (i.e. reach out to their neighbors personally). 1.
