Reparations vote at Georgetown for descendants of 272 Slaves sold in 1838 passes

Michael Imhotep host of The African History Network Show on 4-12-19 discussed an update to Georgetown University's story regarding Slavery.   Georgetown University could approve the first Slavery Reparations fund in the U.S. at a college.  Georgetown undergraduate student body took a vote to impose a fee of $27.20 on the student body to go towards a fund to help the descendants of the 272 enslaved Africans there were sold in 1838 that financially saved Georgetown College.  Now Georgetown is trying to make amends to the descendants of the approximately 4,000 descendants of these African Slaves.
