He taught that repentance is not simply an optional part of the Christian life, but an essential one! "There were some present at that very time who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And he answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? 3 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? 5 No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:1–5)

In this Bible reading, we see that repentance is an important aspect of Jesus’ message. He tells us that unless we repent, we will perish, just like the people mentioned above perished! To repent means to change one’s heart and mind, it therefore means turning away from sin, and towards God. When we repent, we view sin the way God views it; we see it as evil, and are grieved when we commit it. When we repent, we also stop rejecting who Jesus Christ truly is, and accept Him as our crucified and risen Lord and Savior. Basically, repentance means that we CHANGE our MINDS about sin and Jesus!

💥 Repentance Produces Good Works!

True repentance results in changed behavior (Acts 26:20), where we no longer live for ourselves, but for Jesus. Our old selves were crucified with Christ, and we were raised as new people together with Him in baptism (Romans 6:3–5). As new creations, with God dwelling within us, our desire is to please Him and live according to His will, not to continue living in sin! Repentance must never be seen as a "work" that we must do BEFORE we can be saved, because it is something that only God produces within us (Acts 11:18; 2 Timothy 2:24–26). Repentance is a work of God; a free gift of His grace!!

😌 "Blessed is the man who endures temptation (trial), for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him” (James 1:12). Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!

(1 Thessalonians 4:3-5), "It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God." Amen.

If we are commanded to abstain from every form of evil and not make provision for the flesh, then why aren't many obeying?

The question is being answered today: Why then, with God's perfect plan of salvation laid out before us, why do some Christians find sanctification hard to endure? Why do some Christians struggle with it? If it is God's will that we are sanctified, why do some keep getting themselves tangled and enslaved by sin again, when they have been set free from the power of sin? Why is it, that those who claim Jesus is their Lord and Savior, continue to roll around in the dirt, going back to their vomit and then want to claim, "This is too hard. It's just too hard that God expects for us to be holy, knowing that we are still in these earthly bodies, still being tempted by sin, but then wants to judge us!"

I'm sharing how I got arrested in my spirit today to bring forth this message that many will call unsympathetic, uncaring, and heartless. What the unbelieving Christ-rejecting world will never know, is the mind of God. I'm about to talk about something that is unconventional: A common thread found in ALL domestic violence MURDERS among the unmarried, is licentious and lascivious behaviors that are sending many women straight to !

And some may even say, "How dare you speak ill of the dead?" "Haven't she been through enough and now here you are, throwing dirt on such a beautiful soul, who was a rising star; how could you say such a thing?"

Save your comments, I am sympathetic, that's why I'm crying aloud, and sparing nothing! I, too, suffered through domestic violence as a fornicator and a loose woman, and by the grace of God, He did not kill me while I was steeped in my sins! It all boils down to this one biblical truth: "The unrighteous [*NO MATTER HOW THEY DIE] will not inherit God's Kingdom." *(my interjection).

What the Spirit of God showed me today, as I was watching these docuseries on domestic violence, is that in ALL these cases, the unmarried deceased victim died in fornication and lasciviousness! And I was like "wow!" These abused unmarried women who were sleeping with men and having children with them, died in their sins 😭! THEY ARE NOT "RESTING IN PEACE," as their grieving families and friends believe they are! And so the highlight is on SIN!

What we're dealing with is spiritual! We're talking about FORNICATORS dying and going to , having been through " and back"... only to end up there! Therefore, whatever causes our soul to be departed from our bodies, we will stand in judgment if Christ Jesus is not our Lord and Savior! If you had not lived an obedient, chaste life,... if you were not filled with His Holy Spirit and entered through the strait gate, ...crucifying that flesh daily, you will perish...and so will I!!

The Bible says, "By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil" (Proverbs 16:6) Amen! When one “fears” God, he holds God in high esteem, standing in awe of the Almighty! One who genuinely fears the Lord, will have a desire and willingness to submit to what He says to do. Again, amen!!

Beloved, as I'm journeying through my faith and coming upon the brethren, I don't see a whole lot of fearing the Lord like we ought to. Not only is there a lack of respect for His Name, sovereignty and authority, but some ignorantly believe that God is not a God of wrath, justice, and righteous who will most CERTAINLY punish the unrighteous, but only as a "pushover" God, doling out blessings and prosperity, regardless of reckless disobedience! This is why we see the gospel being watered down! This is why we see most "professing Christians" having a laid back cavalier attitude towards holiness and righteous living! They live a life of lukewarmness, maliciousness, wickedness, rebellion and disobedience, all the while, using grace as a cover-up to somehow "legitimize" their sin! But those of us who understand the ramification and consequence of willful sin and living a lifestyle of iniquity: (everlasting fiery destruction and eternal separation from God and the Lord Jesus Christ), know God is NOT playing with that Lake of Fire!

That is why we will be looking at the book of Proverbs (the book of wisdom) today, showing us that fearing the Lord is the principal thing! We will also be looking at Scriptures describing the terrifying events of the Day of the Lord, for the wrath of God and the Lamb is fastly approaching! We who are truly born again, live a life of constant self-examination with a healthy dose of fearing the LORD! As Lord Jesus warns, "And fear not them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear Him that is able to destroy both soul and body in ." (Matthew 10:28).

Amen!

The Bible goes on in that chapter that even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, nor give Him thanks! They became worthless in their thinking [godless, with pointless reasonings, and silly speculations], and their foolish heart was darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools! (Study verses 21-23). THIS IS THE MIND OF A REPROBATE! ONE WHO BELIEVES THEY KNOW GOD, BUT THEY ARE LIVING IN ABOMINATIONS!

Some who claim they are "Christians," but defend their sinful lifestyles, if they do not repent, God will, in fact, turn them over to their vile affections! I'm sharing, in part, an article I read that delves into the mind of a reprobate. It is truly astounding and breathtaking that these individuals can actually say with no conviction: "It might be a hard truth for some Christians to swallow, but God in fact made people who are transsexual." HOGWASH!! They are so far gone in their reprobation, that they can conceive and pen "pointless reasonings, and silly speculations" and call it journalism, in the name of setting the record straight! 🤦🏾‍♀️

So make sure you tune in to this episode to find out what happens if we continue to live in disobedience and rebellion against God's holy Word. His grace won't be able to save you, if you trodden underfoot the blood of the covenant and grieve His Holy Spirit! So no, God does not "understand" your sins, while being disobedient and reckless with your salvation!

The testimony of the Holy Scriptures is unanimous: The Holy Spirit is the only One who can empower us to live the holy life we have been called to live! He gives us power to overcome sin and be obedient to Jesus Christ! The process of dying to sin more and more is called sanctification. It’s an ongoing process, worked out by the Holy Spirit: “You were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:11).

What has Holy Spirit been teaching us these few weeks? Believing in Jesus means...OBEYING JESUS!!

Many are saying that if doesn't matter how we live in Christ because we have His blood and His grace to cover our sins! Again, we do... the PROBLEM is that they are teaching and promoting that you can disobey God and still live, having eternal life ANYWAY! YEAH THAT PART...A-N-Y-W-A-Y! Some (and what I mean by some)....is a lot, are promoting on public platforms, no less, that you can keep right on sinning, keep on disobeying Jesus, keeping on grieving Holy Spirit, keep on denying the holiness and sovereignty of God, keep on ignoring the Holy Scriptures concerning righteous and holy living and still make it into the Kingdom! And when we say, that Once saved/Always saved, aka, "eternal security" is a doctrine of devils, they say we preach legalism! That somehow obedience to Christ is legalism!! Are you kidding me?!

Thus, your allegiance while in the earth to the Kingdom of God or the kingdom of darkness, will determine where you will spend all of eternity! Therefore, a decision must be made in the minds and hearts of every single human being. Either you will repent or you will not. Either you will align yourself with Jesus Christ who died for the sins of the world, or you will align yourself with the devil, whom the Bible says the "whole world lie in the power of the evil one."

Unbelievers, those whose allegiance belong to the "world" and its ruler (the devil), are caught "in the snare of the devil" (2 Timothy 2:26), lie in the "power of the evil one" (1 John 5:19), and are in bondage to Satan (Ephesians 2:2).

John 3:18 tells us the reason for the indictment of condemnation for the lost unrepentant soul: they have rejected the Light who came into the world - Jesus Christ! And yet the masses still begs the question: Why do I need to be saved? Well, according to the Bible, it is because: We are totally lost in sin. We are under God’s wrath. We are in danger of . We are spiritually dead. Our hearts are hardened by evil. We are enslaved to sin and Satan! And therefore, the Lord Jesus Christ says we must be born again in order to have any share in the Kingdom of God!

But if you reject Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice, you have already pledged Your allegiance to God's enemy, the devil who was kicked out of Heaven because pride was found in him! And the devil won't be able to save you, because his fate is as yours: the Lake of Fire!

They are naked and ignorant. Evil pervades their hearts and the way of righteousness, they have not learned. Repent and turn from your evil wicked ways, thus saith the Lord. Turn to Me while there's still a chance and while there's still hope. Amen!

For He has said in Revelation 21:27 regarding the New Jerusalem, "and nothing that defiles or profanes or is unwashed will ever enter it, nor anyone who practices abominations [detestable, morally repugnant things] and lying, but only those [will be admitted] whose names have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life."

Beloved, the Lord will not delay in His coming, and He will judge the unrighteous! Therefore, as children of the Most High God, we must be ready and prepared to meet our Kinsman Redeemer! That is why that age old question will be answered today: Why can’t 🤷🏾‍♀️ we just live however we want and STILL be saved??? And this is the problem!! Many have heaped upon themselves teachers, after their own passions and lusts, to have this question answered for them. And they have been given a tickled ear message that says ,"Yes, you can live however you want, because once you're saved, you're always saved! Well, we know from the Scriptures that that is a false doctrine, specifically, a doctrine of devils!

Do you not know you are being sanctified to be holy and to live righteously and godly in the sight of the One who died and shed His blood for you? Rather than being lured into a false sense of "eternal security," self-examination must be done by all of us: Are you walking in the "newness of life," having abandoned your old wicked ways? So until you can answer this question in the affirmative, as the Spirit of Christ is guiding and leading you, it is unwise to live HOWEVER sinful you want, according to your flesh, and still expect or dare to even dream you or I will inherit God's Kingdom of righteousness and holiness!

💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: In Christ, you are no longer a slave to sin! Sin does not own you any longer - it is not your master! Christ Jesus is! And we must decide to whom we will obey - for He did say, "You cannot serve two masters." SPIRITUAL slavery is greater than any HUMAN slavery, for it applies to everyone, and its ramifications are eternal! People are either slaves to sin, resulting in death (eternal separation from God), or slaves of God, resulting in eternal life in the Kingdom of God. Romans 6:16 reads, “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves to obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?”

What I personally love about Romans chapter 6 is the reason why Paul tells us we are not slaves to sin any longer: our old self was crucified with Christ! Dead men are freed from their old masters. Sin can't tell us what to do any more. We are LITERALLY dead to sin in Christ (Romans 6:1–11). He also tells us to STOP giving our bodies over to be used by sin and to give them over, instead, to be used by God for RIGHTEOUSNESS. We're alive now, no longer dead in trespasses and sins. Why live like sin still owns us (Romans 6:12–14)? Exactly!

🎯 Christ Jesus rescued us out of the domain of darkness, through His sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection! We've been snatched out of sin's deadly grip; snatched out of an idolatrous and adulterous world that is completely manipulated and under the power & demonic influential sway of Satan and have been transferred into the Kingdom of God's dear Son! Hallelujah!

WE BELONG TO GOD NOW - bought by the precious blood of Jesus! Therefore, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery" (Galatians 5:1). Amen!!

Remember what our Redeemer has said: “If you abide in My word [continually obeying My teachings and living in accordance with them, then] you are truly My disciples. 32 And you will know the truth [regarding salvation], and the truth will set you free [from the penalty of sin]” (John 8:31-32). IF THE SON HAS SET YOU FREE, YOU ARE FREED INDEED!

Sadly, some people get saved and tend to continue to live their lives the same way they used to before accepting Christ. For them, salvation is just fire insurance to keep them out of . Without corresponding works of righteousness, their "salvation" is only mental ascension! True faith always leads to works of righteousness, which essentially prove the validity of our faith (James 2:17)! Amen!

The Word of God contains a plethora of Scripture that teaches us how we, the children of God, should live as we await our Lord's return or we go by the way of the grave: in holiness and righteousness, being sanctified and consecrated unto the LORD. Genesis to Revelation makes it clear that those whose lives are characterized by sin, “will not inherit the Kingdom of God” and they will be "thrown into the Lake of Fire" (study Genesis 2:17; 1 Cor. 6:9-10; see also Rom. 8:12-13; Gal. 5:21; Eph. 5:5; Revelation 20:15)!

But you know the way is straight and narrow that leads to eternal life! Don't let anyone deceive you! The Bible tells us how to live post-salvation: 14" [Live] as obedient children [of God]; do not be conformed to the evil desires which governed you in your ignorance [before you knew the requirements and transforming power of the good news regarding salvation]. 15 But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves in all your conduct [be set apart from the world by your godly character and moral courage]; 16 because it is written, “You shall be holy (set apart), for I am holy" (1 Peter 1).
