Jeremiah 17:15 tells us just how ignorant 🤦🏾‍♀️ they sound: "I Listen to what they are saying to me. They are saying, “Where are the things the LORD threatens us with? Come on! Let’s see them happen!” LET us not be mistaken, unless they repent, 2 Thessalonians 1:8 tells us: "In flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus." So let us go over 25 very important Bible verses concerning mockers and how we are to stand firm in the face of persecution, oppression, mockery and slander all for Christ's sake!

Antipathy means a deep-seated feeling of dislike; aversion to something. SIN disgusts God and He wants us to flee from it! SIN to God is like a dog who returns back to its 🤮🤢 vomit! He doesn't want us to be like the unrepentant who is stiff-necked in their disobedience to Him! An unrepentant person knows that he or she has sinned and refuses to ask God for forgiveness or turn away from the sin. The unrepentant show no remorse for their wrongdoing and don’t feel the need to change. Unrepentance is the sin of willfully remaining sinful. 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 gives us the grim fate for those who obey NOT the gospel!

We hear words like redemption, substitution, propitiation, and reconciliation that illuminate the nature of Christ’s atonement, BUT DO WE REALLY KNOW WHAT THESE WORDS MEAN? The atonement was foreordained by God. We read in Revelation 13:8 that Jesus was slain “from the foundation of the world.” God, in His foreknowledge, was fully aware that Adam and Eve eventually would sin, and made provision for the redemption of fallen humanity. Before the world was created, Christ understood that He would take upon Himself the disobedience and rebellion of humanity, thus providing an atonement (doing what was necessary to reconcile two alienated parties: God and us) for sin. So let's take a look at the substitutionary sacrifice of our Lord who took our punishment from God head on! 🥺

I believe the Holy Spirit wants us to continue to teach on this topic, as it has caused massive amount of confusion 🤷🏽‍♀️ in the Church and in the world! MANY people are believing that if your spouse commits Adultery, OR ANY OTHER VIOLATION "detrimental to the marriage," you can REMARRY and find your happiness at last! It is a LIE from the pit of ! The Lord Jesus Christ has clearly taught us that divorce and remarrying another person when you have a LIVING spouse - covenant spouse - is ADULTERY! ⚠️ This is going to be an extremely hard & long study. Even Jesus said that what He is saying about this topic, is hard to understand. "But he said unto them, all men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given." (Matthew 19:11) REMEMBER as you ponder these things, no ADULTERER will inherit the Kingdom of God (study 1 Corinthians 6:9-10)!

Thus saidth the Lord: As long as you stay clean, I will use you. I will use you to do My will on the earth. You are from Me and I sent you to relay My message to the inhabitants of the earth. That they must turn from their sins and come follow Me. You are My light that goes forth in the earth. You are My light in the dawn of darkness. You are from Me and I sent you to proclaim My message: "You must turn from your sins, turn from wickedness, turn from shame and turn back to Me!" You are My witness in the earth to My patience, and generosity. You are to tell the people to turn! They must repent and turn back to Me! I've sent you with this message for the people: "I am coming and soon I will come. My reward will be with Me!" Tell them if they do not turn from their wickedness they will be destroyed in everlasting fire that burns with brimstone and smoke! Turn inhabitants of the earth, turn! For you will see many days of terror and horror if you do not turn. My anger is against Nations who do not know Me nor seek to know Me. I've given many chances and yet the people reject Me! Time is running out and I will soon return and My reward will be with me. I have spoken in times past that if the people do not turn from their sins, turn from their wickedness, they will be destroyed. My Father has sent me into the world once and I will return to destroy the enemies of God! My anger burns with an everlasting hate and you will be destroyed if you do not turn from your wickedness! My wrath will be upon the earth! I come with vengeance and retribution for the one who rejects My hand of mercy and salvation. You do not know, nor do you want to know Me. But I will make myself known when I come to destroy the earth of my enemies! My hand is against all Nations who don't know Me. My anger and wrath will be upon them. Vengeance is mine saidth the Lord! The wrath of God will be upon this earth! You must turn from your wickedness and turn back to God! For the Lord has spoken! Amen! Let it be as according to thy Word Lord! What a terrible 😭 thing to die in your sins -- to die and stand before the holy Judge of all still bearing the uncleanness and guilt of your sins! Jesus warns, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins" (John 8:24). The Gospel is a message about the Kingdom of God and its vindication of our sin. It comes alive in the embodiment of Jesus and points to a kingdom and its King. It also calls people to come near to God and believe who Jesus really is — the Son of God. Jesus has already 😔 died and paid in full the penalty for your sins. His resurrection on the third day, is proof that God accepted His death as full payment for the sins of the world! Why die in your sins and be condemned of God? Turn in faith to Jesus and His shed blood and be forgiven and saved - TODAY!

We have wickedly denied Him the love, honor, and obedience rightly due Him. We have refused Him His right to govern us, even though He made us! We have determined to please self, no matter what God says. We have said in our heart, "I'm going to have my own way regardless of God's claims upon me." Do you realize that you have lived like this? Well we must repent! We must have a changing of our mindset where sin is concerned and where Jesus as our Lord and Savior is concerned! For Jesus told us that if we want to be His follower, His disciple, we must deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him! Amen!

We are able to stand bold in Jesus, when we live repentant lives! We can stand bold for Jesus when our hands are clean and our consciences are clear! Jesus came to offer us a way out of this sinful nature: a way to complete purity, to follow Him and be likened unto His image! The Word of God guardrails our lives! If we want to be like Jesus, then we cleanse ourselves from, and deny, all that goes against the good and perfect will of God, in obedience to the truth. Nothing should be used as a shield or excuse for sin to reign in our lives. We need to use God’s Word to judge our thoughts, words and actions and to separate ourselves from all sin! Then, and only then, can we STAND BOLD FOR JESUS NO MATTER WHAT! 💪🏾💪🏾 Amen! Glory be to God!

There are eternal consequences when we continually live in unrepented sin! We cannot say that we are a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, but then don't do what He commands us to do! Oh! He was clear about what it means to be a follower of His in Matthew 16:24! Therefore, we will be looking at the consequences of sin! The ultimate—and severest—consequence of sin is DEATH! The Bible is clear that the wages of sin is death, according to Romans 6:23. The Bible also tells us that we will reap what we sow, that if we sow to the flesh, from the flesh we will reap destruction (see Galatians 6:8)! GOD WILL NEVER OVERLOOK SIN! Especially not after what Jesus Christ has done on our behalf at the cross! He will not tolerate anyone trampling over the precious shed blood of Jesus (see Hebrews 10), who washes away our sins! The consequence of suppressing the truth is that God gives the sinner over to a reprobate mind (see Romans 1:28)! That is something you do not want to have happen in your life! For, "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God!" Hebrews 10:31
