I want to encourage you. If you feel as if you are being hunted by the enemy and your circumstances seem overwhelming, take a moment and write out your own song of praise. Remember, your circumstances do not dictate your reasons to praise. The fact that Jesus Christ died for you is reason enough. 

“The Lord will reign forever and ever!”

Regardless of my feelings towards one task or the other, I have found one fact to be true no matter the circumstance: It is worth it. The past 31 years have shown me the pressure as well as the power of being the wife of a pastor. I consider this to be one of the most beautiful and brutal callings given by our Lord. He is precise in whom He calls and it's not by accident we end up in these roles. However, just because we are hand picked by the great I Am does not mean it will not come without hardships and Some of the loneliest times in my life have been in walking in this role of pastor's wife. It is hard to find likeminded people who truly understand the nuances of this calling.- Kathy Addis

I love how eloquently scripture describes prayer. I however, am a simple girl and describe it simply as, “having a conversation with God”.

Make no mistake, the Father hears us when we pray, no matter our words. 

By the time I was in my late teens I had worked so hard at pretending I was what I thought people wanted me to be, that I had actually lost track of who I really was...

In one brief but powerfully honest prayer, He stripped me of my lies and brokenness and gave me a new heart, a hope and a freedom. 

Kathy takes us from a fake identity she created for herself to her freedom in Christ to be simply who he made her to be.
