This week, Matt and I will celebrate our 18-year wedding anniversary. We've navigated a lot as a dual career couple. According to Pew Research, in about half of two parent couples, both spouses work full-time. In that same study, 56% of couples said that balancing two careers is hard.

When we were starting our lives together, people weren't as open about all the wonderful things and the challenges of being in a dual career couple.

Whether you're in this stage of your life now or considering it for the future, this is what I would share with other dual career couples and what I wish had been shared with us.
