we were kids sitting in classrooms too.

Some of us felt confident.

Some of us felt invisible.

Some of us learned early that school could feel heavy.

We talk about friend groups and social shifts, especially as kids move into the pre-teen and teen years. These transitions can feel big for them and for us.

And maybe most importantly, we reflect on how our own school memories still influence the way we parent today, sometimes more than we realize because sometimes parenting brings our own stories back to the surface.
