The Dark Corner Podcast reports from FanX Fall 2019. That is, we share our experiences of attending Salt Lake City’s comic and pop culture convention. for instance, we attend panels and meet celebrities. Also, we shop and vendor booths and visit artist’s alley. for instance, Brandi commissions art for her Dungeons and Dragons character and we buy dice. .Also, we grab something to eat as well as admire all the cosplay. Speaking of, Brandi has her picture taken as the 13th Doctor.



Day 1



Brandi receives her special guest badge. Meanwhile, Dave discovers a short cut when going back to the car for his iPhone. Also, we meet Amy, Hayley and Zachary of Trek.fm. Furthermore, we bump into our friend, Allen. We meet with Brandi’s sister at the Droid Builders booth. mostly, we get our bearings and prepare for Day 2. However, we do buy a commemorative mug with free refills of root beer.



Day 2



We begin at celebrity row. That is, we meet Carlos Valdes from The Flash and Jason Isaacs from Star Trek: Discovery and Harry Potter. Also, we attend the celebrity spotlights for each in the grand ballroom. However, we had to duck out of the Jason Isaacs spotlight so Brandi could moderate on a panel. That is, Brandi hosts a panel on diversity in Star Trek. Afterwards, we share a burrito and walk the convention floor. Finally, we end day two by attending a panel on John Carpenter’s The Thing.



Day 3



We relax and take our time on the third day. For instance, we refill our mug of root beer. Also, Brandi chats with artists and their families. Also, Brandi falls in love with a plush Godzilla. Eventually, Brandi meets up with author, Jonathan Maberry, and finds out some scuttlebutt regarding an upcoming film and a Netflix series. Also, with the birth of Star Trek: Discovery art, Brandi commissions a bearded Spock from the Relics Comics booth. Finally, we attend a panel on the new Picard series.



The Dark Track



Finally, we end the show with a dark track. Damsel in the Dollhouse is the brainchild of Nina Tucciarelli from Montana. She performs Villains off the Feast of Villains album. Eerie synth pads contribute to this electro-industrial piece.
