I ?took up a DARE to try a new software. Well, software I ?knew (Canva) but a new feature: ?video! 

?I ?was running out of time today and gave it my best shot but I ?knew I wasn’t going to make it. It’s terrible. (But did you notice there’s a link? ?I dare post my terrible attempt at something?) 

?It’s good to (1) receive the dares, especially from friends, and then (2) give it a shot, but it’s also OK to (3) give up if you run out of time or energy or whatever. 

Here’s a bit of daring and then I’m dropping in the chapter from the audiobook DARE called Educate.

I hope you have moved forward from the beginning of the year but I seem to want to go even further back and get my foundation solid.

Although I’m doing 27 projects at a time, how are the basics? What about the core of your offerings? The roots of the tree, the foundation of the building, the easy, simple, yet often overlooked stuff.

So you’ve got your book done; GREAT! 

And now you may wonder what’s next. 

Here’s a suggestion for you: get invited as a guest speaker on other people’s podcasts, memberships or (online) events and talk about your book!

By doing so, people will start downloading the book and will come into your world, you will build your audience and create a bigger reach with every guest speaking gig you do.

Guest speaking gets your know-like-trust factor covered instantly and it will bring in new clients. Perhaps not on the spot (even though that may happen too), but it will make it a lot easier for you to reach more people. 

Your book can serve as an amazing catalyst to get invited!
