Reptile Living Room

In this interview we met Ryan Jarosek. Austin our Multimedia Director actually introduced me to him and we learn when Ryan says he has an understanding of what it’s like to keep reptiles in a smaller space he’s not kidding!  Ryan is the owner of

Tiki Tiki Reptiles and Jarosek Park Reptiles.

We caught up with Dr. Douglas Dix of Deer Fern Farms at one of the shows and he was gracious enough to share a little bit with us about how he got into reptiles, specifically Uromastyx.  Uromastyx are probably one of the most unknown of the Agamidae family and while popular aren’t understood fully presenting a meaningful challenge to those who would keep them. For more information on Uromastyx species check out our article Uromastyx.

In the inaugural broadcast of Reptile Livingroom 1.0 our host John F Taylor introduces the show and talks about what listeners can expect from the Reptile Livingroom podcast.
