The Republic of Korea should hold off on increasing the minimum wage for a year or so while it considers the effect of past hikes.
That’s the recommendation of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Randall Jones, head of the OECD’s Japan and Korea desk, explained why at an event hosted by the Asian Development Bank Institute.
