CHRISTA NÚÑEZ is the founder and Director of CAN Cooperative Media, The Learning Farm, and its non-profit sister organization Khuba International. She operates the STEAM In Nature Program at the Learning Farm, spearheads the literacy initiative, Ubuntu Library, that centers narratives of people of color and directs Quarter Acre for the People, a food justice-focused program for youth and family farming education and land governance.

Through her PhD studies in Global Development at Cornell University, and in her for and non-profit organizations, as well as with community organizations such as her church and Black Farmers United, Christa works to diversify farming and scholarly landscapes and prioritizes the increase of equity in landholdings. In order to create sustainable food, land, and nature systems for systemically urbanized and displaced youth and families, this work includes the uplifting of stories that center people of color in dignity-affirming ways.

A founding member of artist collective Latinx Mafia, they have participated in international festivals such as FITLA, (International Latin Theater Festival of Los Angeles), the Edinburgh Theater Festival, and the Ibero-American Art Festival.

Most recently Hector also participated in the 51st International Cervantino Festival, representing the United States. Hector has collaborated with greats from the “Chicano” community, such as Violeta Luna, Guillermo Gómez-Peña, and Vanessa Sanchez. Hector is currently touring Mexico and the US with their one person show "The Last Gay man."

Originally from Sweden, MALIN SVENSSON came to Los Angeles with a Master’s degree in Physical Education and became certified by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) in 2000.

This year the Hollywood Reporter named Malin the Celebrity Trainer for the 50+ including clients like Jane Fonda, Jamie Lee Curtis and Maria Shriver. She is also an International Fitness Coach/Author/Speaker and her third published book “WAKE UP Your Body + Mind After 50!” launched in 2020.

Ebony Williams (She/Her) is a Black, queer, first generation woman who is also a licensed marriage and family therapist, social emotional healing arts instructor, and a trauma-informed yoga teacher.

Ebony earned a Masters of Fine Arts from The California Institute of the Arts and Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in African American Family Studies. Ebony is a trauma specialist who practices LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally humble therapy. She has worked with children and families, adults, trauma survivors, and folks across the spectrum of mental health, identity, and experience.

Ebony has a background in education as a teacher and administrator having worked at schools on the east and west coasts, as a consultant, and having taught in the cultural psychology LGBTQIA+ specialization at Pacific Oaks College.

Currently Ebony is core faculty in the SEA Certificate Program through Arts and Healing Initiative and is also a guest instructor in a trauma-informed yoga training.

Ebony has a private therapy practice offering individual, couples, and group work that aims to be trauma-reducing and healing centered. Ebony is also the founder of Root Wellness Healing, a leadership and organizational wellness consulting practice.

Ebony is a mother of two beautiful children and in her self-care time, Ebony enjoys time at the beach, reading, being in community, rollerskating, and food adventures in Los Angeles.
