Welcome back to Rescue Dog Love! In today’s episode, host Yamini chats with Blair, the DINK Dog Mom! What is a DINK? A "DINK" is an acronym that stands for "dou ble income, no kids" or "dual income, no kids" - so Blair and I chat about exactly why we have decided to raise dogs, not kids. What criticisms or assumptions do people make about those who choose not to have children? And why are people so upset at the term “dog mom”?
You can follow Blair on Instagram (@thedinkdogmom) and read her blog entries on her website (https://thedinkdogmom.com)

Today's solo episode is a deep dive into the dog DNA test options available and how they relate back to rescues. I'll chat through all the options and their selling points (and REALLY get into my PR background with a full language audit!) and talk about my dogs results. Finally, I talk a bunch about the idea of the Village Dog (spoiler alert: one of my dogs IS a village dog!)
