Rescue Shit

We're changing it up this week and have a WHOLE HOUR for you! That's because there's so much crazy shit to discuss ;)

This episode is about all the stupid things people say and do- some are naive but others are just mean! There is some cussing in this one since we're quoting the fine people in our public...

We are sure you will be surprised, shocked and will laugh plenty too. This is rescue as real as it gets.

Our featured Adoptable Roadie of the week is Billy Talent- a handsome lover who can't wait to cuddle in your lap!

The episode discusses the rest of the application process with a foster-based organization and moves on to the fun part: the adoption meeting! Go behind the scenes and find out what we're looking for and what we talk about before an animal goes home forever.

This week's Adoptable Roadie is Cassian Andor! This adorable guy is full of spunk and he's a busy, happy boy that just wants to go, go go. Is he the right fit for you? Check out all our adoptable animals at www.motleyzoo.org.

This episode discusses some of the differences between rescue and shelter applications, why we ask for the information we do as well as what we're looking at when trying to match you with a pet. It's good information to know if you're considering adopting from a foster-based rescue anywhere!

This will be followed up with a Part 2, as there was too much information to fit into one episode!

In this episode, we continue with some general things you should know about what to expect when fostering! These are more general concepts than specifics, but we will soon have an episode about some of the supplies and other tools you might need too.

Axl Rose a 3 mo old husky was our in-studio guest this week. He is adoptable, but doesn't have a profile yet. Email [email protected] for more.

In this episode, Pate and Jme discuss some of the specifics about fostering such as how it works in general, some differences between fostering for a rescue or a shelter, and mostly, what our fosters gave as some things they thought before they became fosters. We hope to encourage others to try this amazing, life-saving opportunity- even if just once. There's nothing to regret about saving an animal in need!

Part 2 will come out on 3/30.

This episode we have Christi- board member and Event Coordinator- as our first guest. She tells us about how she got involved with Motley Zoo and all the things she's been up to since. This is also the one where we finally get our own theme music thanks to Matt Setter and Sean Daily. You will laugh. You will cry...and you will wonder how we get anything done when the three of us are in a room together.

We had baby Helena (a blind Boston Terrier Roadie) in our sweatshirts, so you might hear her snoring!
