In this new episode of the "Researchers in the Spotlight" campaign, we sat down with Marta Coll, researcher at the Institute of Marine Science (ICM–CSIC) in Barcelona, to discuss her experiences leading the EuroMarine Foresight Workshop: “Advances in fisheries science: using ecological models to inform current fisheries advice”, which addressed the need to move fisheries management towards an ecosystem-based approach.

We interviewed Cornelia Jaspers from DTU Aqua on her experience leading the JELLY-NEXT Foresight Workshop, which aimed at bridging some important gaps. 

How to find methods to reliably estimate the resilience of natural systems including populations, ecosystems and full Socio-Ecological Systems? We sat down with Alberto Barausse and Camilla Sguotti from the University of Padova to answer this question and talk about their experiences leading the ReMSES Workshop on "Resilience of Marine Socio-Ecological Systems".
