The rise of black businesses in Canada is Phenomenal, and I am all for it. My mission is to purchase and showcase the business owners' products, experiences, and stories through a casual conversation on the Reset With Nat Podcast twice a month.
October is known as Small Business Month, and today I'd like to welcome my special guests Winnie and Danielle of Camillesyorubachest to the Podcast. These two Queens started their fashion/jewelry business in May of 2020, which is exciting! I have been fortunate to order a few items, and I am happy. I must add that their customer care is A+.
I'm excited to learn more about the ladies and more about their experience starting a business in the form of a partnership.

You are never too old or too young to learn from one another. As time evolves, this around us change; being adaptable and open to listening to other people's experiences will help you grow. Now, there are cases when you take the information with a grain of salt and keep it moving, and there are times where you feel inclined to learn more. Always remember sharing information is good, but remember to do your own research and seek professional help when necessary.
People are always in my inbox asking me to join Crypto this, Bitcoin that. I felt more comfortable speaking to someone that I know who has been using this means of investing money for the past few years at the ripe age of 18.
Today, I welcome my special guest Jaden Thomas to today's episode of Money Boosting Mondays!
Disclaimer: This is not financial advice on Cryptocurrency or investing. It is an open conversation about financial planning at an early age and the current means used by this young man.

Welcome Back to another episode of Money Boosting Mondays.
In today's episode, I provide an update on my credit score. Wooohoo! I also do a recap of my debt repayment goals. There is a bit of discussion about various financial options to assist with the goal of becoming debt-free, and the importance of financial literacy.
At this time, the Black Community and others around the world are responding to the Black Lives Matter Movement. Black men and women are dying at the hands of police officers daily. The incidents are not declining although there are protest happening around the world. The issue of racism in the justice system, the education system, healthcare, housing, and other areas of life is overwhelming. The structures in these systems that allow such behaviours to be justified will take years to improve.
The one thing we can focus on ourselves is economic growth within the Black Community. I play a clip from Professor @kein America who shares her views of the importance of circulating our money in the black community. I stand in solidarity with her statement.
I share part of an article in the Toronto Star that mentions the Pan African Credit Union that is in the process of being formulated to provide us here in Canada our own financial institution.

In today's episode, I review my experience of watching my credit score go up as my debts went down. Also, I will be going over my experience with settling collection accounts and monitoring my report on Credit Karma. I have been gifted a book named The Wealthy Barber Returns written by David Chilton. I hope that it keeps me engaged because I'm preparing to venture into the second part of my Money Boosting journey!
As reported on the Global News the coronavirus pandemic could send the Canadian unemployment rate soaring to 15 percent by the end of the year, a new forecast by the parliamentary budget watchdog suggests. My Business partner Shane Phillips will be on the show discussing business and financial opportunities available during this time. We will also talk about investment recommendations for those who want to put some money away, and a little about life insurance.
