"Resilient Maturity" | Philippians 3:15-21 | Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times

Listen Later

We all like to think of ourselves as grown-ups—capable, independent, able to handle life on our own. But when it comes to our faith, are we really as mature as we think?

In our message, we’re diving into Resilient Maturity, and we’ll confront one of the biggest spiritual lies we tend to believe: “I can do it by myself.” The truth? The first sign of spiritual maturity is admitting we still have growing to do and we need help.

In Philippians 3, Paul shows us the surprising movement of spiritual growth from: dependence to independence to interdependence—first on Jesus, and then on the people God places around us.

Spiritual maturity isn’t about arriving—it’s about learning to rely on Christ and walk with others in faith.

Explore what it means to grow up in Christ and develop a faith that stands firm in every season.

The sermon entitled "Resilient Maturity" was preached by Pastor Dan Solofra at CrossWalk Church as part of the "Resilient: Finding Joy in Difficult Times" message series.
