Dr. Bell educates on the toxicity of a relationship with a narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). Men and women who are NPD are self-centered individuals and use others for their personal gain. They manipulate and connive those who are at a disadvantage, uneducated, and low self-esteemed. They have no remorse or any conscious about their evil plots against their target. They feel they are entitled and are very arrogant individuals.
NPD survives off the energies of others. Be it through resources, or validation. They live a life filled with lies because they cannot be their authentic self. They are very insecure, jealous, and envious of others. They do not feel that they belong or have the wherewithal to measure up to anybody. They do not like confrontation because the character that they have created is false and they are afraid of being exposed. The present a false truth about themselves to others but alone they are vulnerable and afraid because they do not feel that they measure up.
Most create a false sense of being based out of a traumatic childhood experience. Rather than seeking healing or help, they create an imaginary fantasy that they are greater than they really are to try and perform for others while trying to convince themselves that they can achieve the greatness they present.
