This is our version of the classic. We enjoyed The Seldom Scene so much, we had to include this one on our new CD. This is not the final version as far as mixing goes, that is still being done. Our new CD should be available in a month or so. 6 originals and 8 classics we like.

I am trying to learn more about recording and thought Clinch Mountain Backstep would be a good project. I play the mandolin, banjo and Dobro parts. Guitar rhythm and Bass are courtesy of the Band In A Box RealBand software.

This is my version of Southern Rain by Mike Auldridge. I play it in G because I'm too lazy to tune to B which is where Mike played it. I tracked the dobro and rhythm guitar. The bass is midi.
