As Daniel Goleman said managing your mood and the mood of followers is the primary task of leadership. We discuss how we can manage this mood, ‘set the stage’ (an Amy Edmonson practice) and use coaching skills, all of which can enhance psychological safety.
In this episode, we discuss how to get beneath the current experience of team psychological safety either through conversations with team members or the use of a Psychological Safety Scan. This will be followed in the next and final episode by us sharing some learnable practices for improving team psychological safety.
